Everton were a midwest emo band from Austria, and are perhaps best known, when known at all, for their excellent split with Rika. Everton were playing 90s style emo well after things had started to swing towards the revival sound, with the very early first wave emo revival bands bringing back the Kinsella noise around the same time Everton released their first and only LP in 2007. Everton were of the other strain of midwest emo, clearly inspired by Mineral and the emo-pop bands of the mid-90s. Their only other release, as far as I know, is the Voicebox EP, which predates their other work and has a rougher quality, but has some great songs on it.
