Lost North Star were a band from California. They played early 2000s emo pop; any fans of previously featured bands like Derail, five star sequel, or Dear Diary will feel right at home, though Lost North Star is maybe slightly more midwest emo-influenced than is typical for this sound. The vocals are nice as well, trading off between a male and female vocalist. This EP appears to be their only physical release, put out in 2001 on Dying Wish. They have four demo tracks that were released on MP3.com, one of which didn't make the cut for the EP. In addition, I've included three tracks that were made available on the band's now defunct website.
