wrong day to quit

Wrong Day to Quit were a screamo band active in the mid-2000s. I'm not sure exactly where they were from, but somewhere in New Jersey. The band consisted of members from other notable bands in a similar vein, including The Assistant and This Ship Will Sink. Their sound is pretty classic—this album could have easily been released ten years before or ten years after 2007. The female vocals are something of a rarity in this sphere, however, and always welcome. The liner notes contain not just lyrics, but a very detailed look at the reasoning behind them, which is interesting.

They released two EPs, both in 2005, before the album Vicissitudes in 2007. In addition, they contributed a song to the Keep Singing! A Benefit Compilation For Compassion Over Killing compilation, which features quite a few familiar bands.
